I get excited when it comes to holidays, starting with Valentines Day to Christmas. I also put up decorations for every one of the holidays. I put a lot into decorating since I don’t have kids to spend my money on. I want to go all out on Halloween for the kids in the neighborhood this year. I really plan on getting a lot of accessories for the house and front lawn to make halloween extra special. I decided to check online and see if I could get any creative ideas. I ran across a halloween website that carries everything from decorations to pets halloween costumes. At this online shopping store there is a giant spider that I think is so awesome. A spider that size would really take up some room on my porch. One of the neat props is a crawling hand they have online. I even found some scarry looking costumes that would be perfect for me. I’m sure the kids in the neighborhood would enjoy having me dress up for trick or treat night.
Since I don’t have any kids, I’m going to dress my little dog in one of the amazing little costumes for pets they have online. I’m surprised they make such cute little pet costumes for dogs. One of my favorites is the cowboy outfit for dogs. But they also had a little pet costume that was a prison dog. How do they think up these ideas for pet costumes? My dog will look so cute in one of these pet costumes. I thought about the pirate costume or maybe the biker dog outfit for him. But there are so many adorable halloween costumes for pets that it is not an easy decision. I went on to the decoration decisions while I milled over all the pet costume options. I did order the giant spider. I have a big enough front porch that I think it would work out great. I took care of my window decorations and a cover for my door that was dripping with blood. Next to my bowl of candy, I’m going to put a crawling hand right on the table, on the front porch. I’m putting out a few grave markers that I ordered from online, too. I already have a coffin with a skeleton inside from last year that I’m adding to the yard décor. I also decided to get a couple of bats, a few little spiders and webs to string along on my porch banister. I have gotten just about everything I need to create a spooky halloween scene for the trick or treaters.
Mikeys little costume was next on my agenda. I’m getting the little tuxedo and derby looking hat for my dog, Mikey. The bow tie and cape that comes with it is really adorable. He will look so classy in his dapper little suit. This online Halloween site has an awful lot of large and small pet costumes to choose from. There is such a variety in costumes for your little pet. I enjoyed just browsing through the collection and looking at the cute little pups in costume. As soon as Mikeys’ costume got here, I had to see how cute he would be in it. He was the cutest little thing in the tux and hat. When I tried my costume on, Mikey wasn’t too happy with the way I looked. But after a few minutes he realized it was me and he was fine with it.
I was very happy with the costumes and the decorations I bought. I was anxious to begin the decorating on the house and front lawn. I also bought cd’s with eerie, creaky sounds and weird music on them. For a really creepy halloween addition, I thought the cd’s would be perfect. Some of the neighborhood kids want to help me decorate. This year is going to be a lot of fun.
